Be Okay being Misunderstood

Our family values time over money.

Freedom over material things.

We cry when we’re sad and sing from mountain tops when we are happy.

You will never hear me tell my children they’re “too sensitive”,

Why would I crush a super-power like that?

Empathy and compassion are something this world needs more of.

We don’t need to understand something or someone to be kind.

In our home, we encourage big dreams, and we find the extraordinary in the ordinary.

We balance work and rest.

We do our best to not take life so seriously. After all, we live on a big rock hurling itself though space.

How much control do we really have?

We let go of what doesn’t suit us. And we do not explain things to people who have no interest in understanding.

Our energy is priceless, but it does have limits.

We must protect our vibes like we protect our money in the bank.

We work hard, for ourselves. Not for greed, or the man.

Life is too short for such nonsense.

We use what we have and share what we can.

We speak of our fears and our dreams; the universe does not know what we want if we keep secrets.

Pushing emotions under the rug does nothing for anybody.

We know life is not easy, but it does not have to be so hard.

Most of the time, we stress over things that will not matter in a year.

We slow down when we are busy, because being busy is a choice.

Our productivity does not measure our worth.

Life is simple, it is us who makes things complicated.

Dream big and love hard.

The rest will take care of itself.
